Shri. Dominic Presentation, renowned Congress leader, actively associated with Sports and Cultural activities, was born as the son of Shri. Felix Presentation and Smt. Rosamma on February 19, 1949.

A graduate, he started his political life even while being a student. Later, he served as District President, K.S.U., District Secretary, Youth Congress and General Secretary, D.C.C, Ernakulam. Shri. Dominic Presentation had served also as a member of Cochin Corporation Council during 1988 – 94 and subsequently became the Leader of Opposition in the Corporation Council.

Shri. Dominic Presentation became elected to the 9th and 10th KLA from Palluruthy constituency as a Congress member. He continues to represent the same constituency in the 11th KLA also. He is the Minister for Fisheries and Sports, since 5.9.2004, in the Ministry headed by Shri. Oommen Chandy.

A life member of Ernakulam Regional Sports Centre, Shri. Dominic Presentation was, likewise, a member of Organising Committee of Santhosh Trophy held in 1973 and 1993 and Organising Committee of Nehru Gold Cup in 1983 and 1985.

Dr. Mary Abraham is his wife and they have one daughter.
