Educated at St. Joseph's Convent, Kollam, Govt. Boys High School, Kollam, Arya Central School, Thiruvananthapuram, Trinity Lyceum, Kollam, F. M. N. College, Kollam & K. G. F. Law College, Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka.
Enrolled as Advocate on 11-12-1983. Started practice at Thiruvananthapuram. Shifted to High Court of Kerala at Ernakulam and practised in different branches of law, specifically in Civil, Constitutional and Administrative Laws.
Appointed as Permanent Judge of High Court of Kerala on 14-10-2004.
