KOZHIKODE: Cabinet meet has decided to provide an aid of three lakh rupees each to the families of those who died in the landslip and flood that raged in northern Kerala.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy declared the decision after the meet.
The calamity claimed nine lives.
Thundathil Biju lost his wife Lisie, father Ousep,mother Elikutty and sons Kuttoos(4) and Joel(2).
Other casualties include Palathodi Gopalan, Padannamakkal Binu’s daughter Jyothsna (9), Puthenpurayil Varkey(73), Palathodukayil Gopalan(76)
Jyothsna’s body was discovered today.
