KOZHIKODE: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of Revolutionary Marxist leader T P Chandrasekharan Monday arrested a man, who was suspected of providing shelter to the key accused in the case. Sources said the team arrested Thankachan alias Rocket Thankachan, who had allegedly sheltered N K Sunil Kumar alias Kodi Suni, and other gang members at CPI (M) ‘party gramam’ (village) on a hillock at Mudakkozhi in neighbouring Kannur from Peravoor this morning. He was also suspected of supplying a pistol and a dagger for Rs 13,000 to Suni. The RMP leader was done to death by unidentified assailants at Vatakara in the district on May 4.
